How far ahead should we book in?
Usually at least two weeks before your preferred moving date.
Will the weather affect moving day?
In most cases, we will be there regardless. If rain will affect your driveway, please let us know.
Where will you put our boxes at unload?
Usually in there appropriate rooms, unless you'd prefer them all in one area.
Can our clothes stay in drawers?
With light clothing this is okay, but only for clothing.
Do we have to empty our fridge and freezer?
Fridge definitely needs to be empty; smaller chest freezers can be up to half full.
We have a bad staircase or rock steps. Will that cost more?
Maybe. Please let us know this at time of quoting, otherwise before the moving day.
We have some precious furniture; how will this be dealt with?
We have vast experience moving antiques and valuables. They will be respected and cared for.
What can we do to help leading up to moving day?
Pull bed frames apart; have all small items in sealed, strong boxes; have everything accessible (preferrably not packed into one room); DO NOT water plants for a couple of days before the move; empty the water tray on fridges; let us know if you have more boxes than estimated.
Will you only charge what you quoted?
Yes, if your list and access are as described, the quote will not change
We are relocating to Sydney, and wonder whether you do door-to-door?
Yes, we move to Sydney and collect from Sydney. It doesn't matter if you have one piece, or your whole houseful, we move you door to door, and place your furniture where you want it.
Do you deliver door to door, on one truck?
Yes, we deliver on the truck we load onto, direct to your address.
When will I pay?
Either on the day by EFTPOS or OSKO transfer, or prior to moving day via Funds Transfer.
Do I need to provide my own covers or blankets?
No. The trucks have all the padded removal pads necessary. If you want to cover your mattresses, feel free to do that.
